You will find the quaint town of Kernville, CA, home to Whiskey Flat Days. Whiskey Flat Days is held every Presidents Day Weekend. It is a leap back to the good ol' wild west days when the area was settled by gold miners, cattle ranchers and trappers. Kernville reverts to its old name "Whiskey Flat" for four nostalgic days of fun for the entire family.
About John Swartz
I am a self taught artist. I have been in all mediums for over 30 plus years. My current medium that I enjoy is photography. I have only been doing this for the past 8 years and teaching myself along the way. I totally enjoy the landscape/travel aspect and wish to get in more into portrait. I really want to take several photos and manipulate them to create a master piece of an amazing scene at the same time making it looks so realistic. To me that is amazing. I currently shoot with a Sony A77. I shot HDR and sometimes HDR focus stacking. I really enjoy experimenting and trying new techniques.
